8dc8835b64 LibWeb+LibWebView+WebContent: Allow muted media to autoplay by default
The autoplay setting was binary and its default blocked all media,
including muted video, leaving sites that rely on muted autoplay
visibly broken. Replace it with a tri-state user-agent autoplay
policy (allow audio and video, block audio, or block audio and video)
defaulting to allowing only inaudible media to autoplay.

This is enforced through the media element's "allowed to play" check,
so unmuting a muted autoplay or calling `play()` cannot slip audio
past the policy; audible playback is permitted once the document has
been activated by the user. The policy lives in a dedicated
AutoplaySettings consulted from HTMLMediaElement instead of the
Permissions Policy "allowed to use feature" check it was previously
conflated with.

5f0e95de13 Meta+LibWeb+Compositor: Add remote canvas transports
The display list can now refer to canvas ids, but WebContent still had
no channel for creating or updating those canvas resources in the
Compositor. Both 2D and WebGL canvases would have had to grow the IPC
plumbing in the same commit that changes the rendering contexts.

This adds the Compositor-side CanvasHost, WebContent transport objects,
and the IPC/CMake pieces needed to allocate, update, read back, and
destroy remote canvas contexts. The rendering contexts are not switched
over yet, keeping this as plumbing for later commits.

af8b41e1cb LibWeb+Compositor: Add canvas display-list surfaces
Canvas contexts need a compositor-owned surface path that can be shared
by 2D canvas and WebGL. Add CanvasId and a CanvasSurfaceRegistry, pass
the registry into display-list playback, and teach Skia playback how to
resolve and draw a registered canvas surface.

This only adds the shared display-list command and registry plumbing.
Existing canvas elements still publish their old compositor surfaces, so
the behavior change is left for the later canvas-host commits.

b36e6c9b97 Compositor+LibWeb: Pass AVC trees separately from display lists
Display lists owned the accumulated visual context tree through a
ref-counted pointer. That tied visual-context state to display-list
lifetime and made compositor updates treat the two as one unit, even
though AVC trees need to become independently updateable compositor
state.

Make accumulated visual context trees plain versioned values, have each
display list store the compatible tree version, and pass the matching
tree alongside display-list updates and replay calls. Replay verifies
that the provided tree matches the display list before executing it.

This prepares the compositor for receiving AVC tree updates separately
from display-list updates: it now accepts the tree as a separate update
parameter, stores it next to the display list, and uses that stored tree
for replay and async-scroll hit testing. Nested display-list resources
carry their own tree snapshots for the same version check.

637fd51595 LibWeb: Unify WebIDL C++ type generation
Represent WebIDL C++ types with a single CppType model that tracks
nullability, optional presence, and contained storage.

GC-like values now use GC::Ref/GC::Ptr directly, while containers choose
"plain", "Root", or "Conservative" container types depending on what
they contain. For example, sequence<Element> becomes a RootVector of
GC::Ref values, while sequence<SomeDictionary> becomes a
ConservativeVector only when the dictionary contains GC-like values.
This moves the generated bindings away from wrapping GC values in
GC::Root by default.

This has broad fallout as the types passed to interfaces for GC
objects changes almost fully across the board.

5c928eb7eb LibWeb/CSS: Implement the @scope rule
`@scope (a) to (b) {}` applies its contained style rules to elements
that have `a` as a parent, and do not have `a b` as a parent. Both the
`a` and `b` selector lists are optional.

Because it's situational whether a `@scope` will apply to a given
element, we store the ancestor scope on the `MatchingRule`, similar to
`@container`, and then determine during matching whether all the parent
`@scope`s match or not.

The rules for how selectors inside `@scope` are adjusted and interpreted
are a bit confusing. Unlike for other at-rules, nested style rules
inside `@scope` do not get a leading `&` added during parsing. To
support this, `adapt_nested_relative_selector_list()` now takes a flag
for whether its parent is a `@scope` or not.

`@scope` can also contain nested declarations without itself being
nested inside a style rule.

When determining their selectors, nested declarations rules adopt the
`@scope`'s scoping root if it has one, or otherwise fall back to the
parent element of the `<style>` element (not implemented here,) or the
`:root`. These are required to have zero specificity, so we wrap the
selector in `:where()`.

cded122a2d LibIPC: Support DistinctNumeric serialization
IPC currently needs each distinct numeric wrapper to provide its own
serialization specialization. That makes compositor resource ids and
pixel-unit wrappers grow one-off glue as soon as they cross an endpoint.

Teach LibIPC to serialize AK::DistinctNumeric wrappers through their
underlying value type and remove the redundant Web-side specializations
for UniqueNodeID and DevicePixels. Existing compound pixel-unit
serializers now rely on generic wrapper support for their components.

This is preparatory work required to add IPC between the main and
compositor threads.

585849fcf0 LibWeb: Parse and evaluate @container <size-feature>s
e.g., `@container (width >= 300px) {}` and similar.

During style computation, flag any elements whose style depends on a
size container. Then re-evaluate their style after the initial layout
has been computed and size containers have a size. This may take
multiple passes, as these may have further descendants that depend on
their size, etc. We limit this to 8 passes currently.

SizeFeature itself is very similar to MediaFeature, but queries the
container element instead. There are only 6 size features specified, so
they're hard-coded instead of generated from JSON.

Also add a counter test for the narrower restyle path.

9996403e73 LibWeb/CSS: Extract base class from MediaFeature
`<media-feature>` and the upcoming `<size-feature>` from `@container`,
share the same syntax and almost all of their behaviour. To avoid a lot
of duplication, pull as much as possible into a FeatureQuery template
class that they will both inherit from.

MediaFeatureValue is renamed FeatureValue as it's also shared by both.

No behaviour change.

b67d73a661 LibWeb: Apply ::first-letter pseudo-element styles
We now apply first letter styles by splitting text with a first-letter
style applied into 2 `TextSliceNode` objects.  The
`DOM::Text` layout  node always points at the non first-letter slice
and the first-letter slice is  reachable via
`TextSliceNode::first_letter_slice()`.

First letter splitting works by `TreeBuilder` walking a block
container's inline descendants to find the first typographic letter
unit per the pattern given in  css-pseudo level 4, which is then
wrapped in an anonymous inline box styled with the `::first-letter`
computed properties.

Consumers that map between DOM offsets and layout geometry
are updated to visit all slices of a `DOM::Text` through
`TextOffsetMapping`.

6063650261 LibWeb: Stop using VideoFrameSource for video frame updates
Future compositor-process work needs to push video frame updates without
going through VideoFrameSource. That object cannot be shared through
IPC, so video display-list resources now use stable VideoFrameResourceId
values and the current frame is sent through explicit resource/update
commands.

93bbdf1f55 LibWeb: Use compositor surface IDs for embedded content
Display lists kept canvas and nested navigable content alive through
ExternalContentSource objects. That made the resource graph depend on
process-local object identity instead of a stable surface handle, which
blocks compositor process isolation and made teardown-sensitive embedded
content harder to reason about.

Allocate CompositorSurfaceId values for canvases and child navigables,
publish their backing stores to the owning compositor, and paint them
with DrawCompositorSurface. Child navigables now publish to parent
compositors by CompositorContextId instead of raw object pointers, so
the in-process path uses the same stable addressing model required by a
remote compositor.

Clear and skip stale child surfaces during teardown, preserve Skia
canvas state while drawing compositor surfaces, and add display-list
coverage for canvas and iframe compositor surfaces. The nested navigable
async-scrolling baseline now expects DrawCompositorSurface.

29784ea397 LibWeb: Remove the C++ HTML tree builder
Delete the old C++ tree-construction implementation and helper classes
that became unused once the Rust parser is unconditional. Remove the C++
stack of open elements, active formatting elements, speculative mock
element, and tree-builder-only token storage.

Keep the C++ parser entry points that still own LibWeb DOM integration,
encoding detection, tokenizer bridging, incremental parsing, and the
speculative parser support used by resource discovery.

f743263871 LibWeb: Let internals.wheel await async scroll adoption
Async scrolling tests used requestAnimationFrame() as a proxy for the
compositor thread to return pending scroll updates to the main thread.
That waited for a rendering opportunity, so tests could observe stale
DOM scroll offsets when the compositor update had not been adopted yet.

Make internals.wheel() return a promise that resolves after a tracked
async scroll operation has been applied by Navigable. Tracking is opt-in
from the internals test API, so regular page wheel input and compositor
IPC keep the boolean async-scroll path without allocating operation IDs.
Tracked test scrolls are the only operations that record completions.

Update async scrolling and wheel propagation tests to await the wheel
promise directly instead of relying on animation frame timing in tests.

537f289c0c LibGfx+LibWeb: Move display-list corner types to LibGfx
Prep for moving display-list rasterization out of LibWeb by moving the
device-pixel corner radius, corner clip, and anti-aliasing types to
LibGfx.

Keep BorderRadiiData in LibWeb as the CSS-pixel representation and
convert it to Gfx corner radii when recording display-list commands.

b9ed64d1ce LibWeb: Add dedicated overflow-clip-margin style value
Store overflow-clip-margin as a structured style value instead of
collapsing it into generic keyword/length lists during parsing.

Keep omitted visual-box as a distinct state so painting can apply
the spec default per element type (content-box for replaced,
padding-box otherwise), while preserving canonical serialization.

9f4a712e57 LibWeb: Add basics for the Permissions API
This adds the basic infrastructure for the Permissions API, including
the `Permissions` and `PermissionStatus` interfaces. The API is exposed
via `navigator.permissions` on both `Window` and `WorkerGlobalScope`.

- `is_permission_supported` is hardcoded to return false.
- The `query()` method checks for a secure context but rejects all
queries since no powerful features are supported yet.

The permission store and permission key related methods and algorithms.
Ability for the user agent to store the permissions entries.

Passes a few more subtests in `permissions/`.

This one behaves differently because now the `query` property is
defined. And the last subtest passes for the wrong reason.
"Querying "fullscreen" permission with "allowWithoutGesture" false
is unsupported"
but in fact everything is currently unsupported.

permission is marked as experimental in Navigator and WorkerNavigator,
so tests that now pass actually don't because the tests don't have

ec1cdea7db LibWeb: Inline paint styles in display list commands
Paint styles were stored as display list resources, which kept path
painting tied to in-process C++ objects. Move the gradient and pattern
payload into FillPath and StrokePath instead, with gradient stops
serialized as parallel color and position spans.

This is prep work for making display lists serializable across the IPC
boundary without needing to marshal SVG paint style objects separately.

4ba14759dc LibGC: Move Web::WebDriver::HeapTimer to GC::Timer
Move HeapTimer out of LibWeb and into LibGC as GC::Timer, inheriting
from GC::Cell instead of JS::Cell. Add a finalize() override that
stops the timer, ensuring it is cleaned up during GC finalization.

5adfd1c43a LibWeb/Bindings: Generate struct definitions from IDL dictionaries
Previously we were inconsistent by generating code for enum definitions
but not generating code for dictionaries. With future changes to the
IDL generator to expose helpers to convert to and from IDL values
this produced circular depdendencies. To solve this problem, also
generate the dictionary definitions in bindings headers.

f56745b15b LibWeb: Store display list resources separately
Commands used to keep rendering resources directly in the variant:
image frames, external content and video sources, filters, SVG paint
styles, and nested display lists. That makes the command stream own its
dependencies and prevents it from becoming a POD-like byte buffer.

Add DisplayListResourceStorage and replace those command fields with
stable resource IDs. The storage deduplicates resources by their
existing IDs and can copy only the resources referenced by a captured
command sequence, giving the future IPC boundary a clear list of
resources that must be communicated to the rasterization process.

9a348c8338 LibWeb: Paint video frames from YUV data
A video element should record video as video, not as generic external
bitmap content. Add VideoFrameSource and a dedicated display-list
command so the display-list player receives the current
Media::VideoFrame directly.

The Skia player can now upload YUV pixmaps from the frame when a GPU
context is available, without teaching the ordinary ImmutableBitmap
image cache about media formats. If GPU upload is unavailable, the
fallback explicitly converts the frame through YUVData::to_bitmap().

This gives video painting a clear extension point for future frame
backends, such as hardware frames or other planar formats, while
keeping bitmap drawing focused on immutable pixel snapshots.

4278194d96 LibWeb/CSS: Port the CSS Tokenizer to Rust
test-css-tokenizer is updated to run both the C++ and Rust tokenizers
and compare their output, to ensure they behave identically. The Parser
still uses the C++ Tokenizer.

The LibWeb crate, FFI layer etc are all based on the existing ones for
other libraries.

This is a direct AI translation to get us started, and not idiomatic
Rust. Future work can be done to make it more sensible.

6069bcdcc7 LibWeb: Move StyleInvalidator into CSS invalidation
StyleInvalidator applies CSS invalidation plans and matches selector
features while walking DOM nodes. Move the class from DOM into the
CSS::Invalidation namespace alongside the other invalidation helpers.

Document still owns the invalidator and DOM nodes still expose the state
that gets marked, but the policy for applying invalidation plans now has
a home with the rest of the CSS invalidation code.

70ac025eff LibWeb: Implement the speculative HTML parser
When the HTML parser blocks on a synchronous external script, run a
separate tokenizer over the unparsed input and issue speculative fetches
for the resources it finds (script src, link rel=stylesheet|preload, img
src), with <base href> tracking and template/foreign-content skipping.

Also fills in the previously-stubbed "consume a preloaded resource"
algorithm and the document's "map of preloaded resources", so that
<link rel="preload"> followed by a matching consumer deduplicates to
a single fetch.

61d79a1e47 LibWeb: Parse CSS image-set()
Add an abstract image style value for image-set() and parse both the
standard and -webkit-prefixed spellings through the existing <image>
value path. The parser accepts URL and string image candidates,
optional resolution descriptors, and type() filters.

Track attr-taint through substituted component values so image-set()
candidates using attr()-derived URL-producing tokens are rejected when
resolved for URL-using properties.

Update the relevant WPT baselines now that image-set() parsing is
supported in additional value contexts.

4178ec0af4 LibWeb/WebGL: Remove Extensions interface
No other third layer folder in LibWeb has its own namespace which
makes this a special case for the IDLGenerator when determining
namespaces. Instead of adding a special case, simply remove the
namespace.

Currently there are multiple style values which are essentially the same
thing, a function holding a value, just with different names. This
commit adds a generic style value to replace them with and the following
commits will do so.

8a7332b7b9 LibWeb: Add OpacityValueStyleValue
This allows us to avoid the ugly hack in
`property_accepted_type_ranges()`.

This also updates the `ValueType` to be `opacity-value` rather than
`opacity` to match the spec.
